Day 1: Recipe Cards & Holder

24 May

We’d love to know your thoughts in the comments section! What do you enjoy most about stamping? Is it to simply create cards or make handmade gifts for others? Depending on how long you’ve been stamping, hasn’t stamping truly evolved? From the very basis to now digital stamps(nope, ISC will never go digital!). With that said, this month, well, all months are always unique at ISC –right….. the Achitects’ were challenged to use many of the oldie-goodie stamp sheets, such as Rustic Artsy Swirls, Flowers Watercolor Effect , & Passion Flower and create gifts for that Special someone or just because!

Be sure to visit all of the Creative Architect blogs starting today until Wednesday May 26!

Today, here’s a simple way to transform plain recipe cards using Flowers Watercolor Effect sheet, which is on SALE!  So, do you enjoy baking? Karen took various stamps from this sheet to accent her cards and hand wrote her favorite recipes. She also created a box to hold the cards too! Super clever!

Tips: fill a small basket with the main dry food ingredients needed, fill empty jelly jars with the dry ingredients and attached a recipe card, the ideas are endless!

Thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful recipe cards. Almost makes me want to cook. Just kidding, cooking is fine, I’d just rather be stamping.
